Sales and Marketing
Our Sales and Marketing team is current with industry trends and is a crucial part of driving results to our properties. At Western Lodging we look to develop strong corporate support to hotel sales staff and General Managers through the Corporate Sales Representative.

Through our budgeting process and benchmarking we look to set clear goals for our sales and marketing department through the use of sound revenue management practices and through building the account/client relationships, expanding community involvement, and actively selling our hotels in their markets.

In the past hotels find a "salesperson" who is paid an annual salary and with a small bonus at the end of the year given depending on the overall performance. We have found those types of salespeople are simple order takers and are not generating nor growing new business. Through our innovative payment and commission structure, our sales generate twice as much business in about half as much time with the properties only paying their salespeople for the business they actualize.
